Dr. Hanafiah Yussof
Chief Executive Officer, Founder
Dr. Hanafiah Yussof is the founder, board director, and group CEO of Robopreneur Sdn Bhd. With over 20 years of experience in robotics research and development and business, he has earned a reputation as an esteemed academician, innovator, entrepreneur, and game-changer. His success in the field has made him a prominent figure in the campaign to achieve corporate-wide adoption of robotics technology in all businesses.
With the aim to develop and distribute commercial robots that empower humanity, Dr. Hanafiah knows that Robopreneur will play an important role in the robotics industry and become a world-class robotics company.
Recently, Robopreneur have successfully raised RM 1,856,800 in the ECF-Seed round from 64 investors on PitchIN platform. This fund will be utilise mostly for completing the product R&D, talents acquisition, marketing and operation, towards the global expansion to Japan and Singapore this year.
Dr. Rubie Zahari
Chief Administrative Officer, Co-founder
Dr. Rubie Zahari is the Co-Founder and Chief Administration Officer (CAO) of Robopreneur Sdn Bhd. Dr. Rubie received the B. Eng and M. Eng Degrees in Mechanical System Engineering from Yamagata University, Japan in 1998 and 2000, respectively. Dr. Rubie holds a PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university specializing in a Material Science Engineering in 2005. After finished Master Degree, Dr. Rubie joined Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) as a Lecturer in 2000.
Dr. Rubie has won several academic awards such as Hatakeyama Prize in 1998 from The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineering (JSME) for excellent achievement and personality in Mechanical Engineering Course, Japan, including Best Paper Awards in conferences, and Excellent Services Certificates & Excellent Teaching Certificates from UPM.
Shah Abd Latif
Chief Finance Officer
Shahrizan spent the early part of his career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse Coopers gaining valuable experience in the technical aspects of business, accounting, finance and regulatory compliance. He has spent more than a decade as an entrepreneur realizing opportunities in the education, skills and technology sector. Currently, he is the Head of education for pitchIn and WatchTower & Friends.
He has trained entrepreneurs & investor in the area of Crowdfunding. The Lean Startup, Business Modelling, Financial Management, Funding & Investments. Notable organizations he has worked with includes MaGIC, MBAN, BNM, Etiqa, TEGAS and a host of others. He has been invited to speak at numerous events such as the LIFT Festival and Angel Investor Workshop and judge enterpreneurship competitions such as Unimaker, University Startup Challenge and MTDC Business Challenge. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and enthusiastic about working with startups, entrepreneurs and the ecosystems in the journey to realize their vision of the future.
